April is Clinical Nurse Liaison with Avalon Physician Services. April worked her way up through the clinical field, starting as CNA, then LPN, and now RN. She graduated from Acadia Nursing Institute in Ohio with an Associates of Nursing. With over 15 years in the nursing field and over 20 in the medical field, April has experience in a variety of healthcare settings such as medical-surgical step-down units, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation. With extensive knowledge in wound care, April has worked with the geriatric community to provide direct patient care for years. Her focus with Avalon is assisting in the management of chronic conditions through education and advocacy with a compassionate approach. April is very passionate about taking care of people and helping achieve their best in medical care and to help live their best life.
April is married and has raised 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, gardening, canning and just being in nature.
Dr. Sarafa and his team have been coming to our senior community to service the residents for some time now and we cannot recommend them enough. They are very approachable and extremely knowledgeable. The only regret is that we didn't invite them in sooner!
