Biography

Andrew is a Nurse Practitioner and graduate of Michigan State University's College of Nursing in 2008 and Madonna University's Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Program in 2016. He has worked in a wide array of diverse fields including medical-surgical, oncology, infectious disease, neurology, pain management, home hospice, family medicine, and geriatrics. Since becoming a nurse practitioner five years ago, he has worked mostly in primary care in a home care setting, and all of his experience makes him uniquely qualified to care for the patient population at Avalon Physician Services.

Andrew has been a nurse for thirteen years now and a nurse practitioner for five years. He is very passionate about caring for the population that our practice serves. He is a married father of one girl and one boy. He is a Michigan State fan who bleeds green and white, and since he was born in Minnesota, he roots for all of the Minnesota teams in professional sports. Sadly, this includes the football team the Minnesota Vikings who rip his heart out at least once every decade. In fact, Gary Anderson missing a field goal that would have sent them to the Superbowl in 1998 pretty much ended his childhood.
